Good Friday Liturgy
On this day, God’s Friday, we falter before the enormity of the Cross. The liturgy of Good Friday is a solemn time of remembering Christ’s Passion. The Altar is bare and we kneel in silence.
In the silence, which accompanies each of the solemn collects, we are invited to join the pain and sorrows of humanity to Christ’s suffering. A cross is brought into our midst, the symbol of God’s great outpouring of love for us.
