Women of Trinity is a branch of the National Episcopal Church Women (ECW) and of the Diocese of Southwest Florida’s ECW. All women members of the church are members of Women of Trinity. The group meets monthly from October through May for a luncheon and program. Formerly known as ECW (Episcopal Church Women) the women’s group was established in Trinity’s earliest years.
Trinity’s traditional annual Christmas Market, in its 54th year, will be chaired by three women from the Women of Trinity: Sandy Clausen, Judy Lewis and Peggy Newton.
The Friday night Preview Party, held on November 16, 2012, is always a beautiful time to get in the holiday spirit while visiting with Trinity friends and enjoy some early shopping. The Preview Party is by invitation only. The Market, held on Saturday, November 17, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, is a great time to volunteer your time to assist with making the Market the wonderful success it has always been...for over 50 years!
WOMEN OF TRINITY LUNCHEONS
From October to May, Women of Trinity host monthly luncheon meetings featuring speakers and programs arranged by our Program Committee. The program committee searches for the latest entertainment and educational programs. Lunches are catered for the cost of $10.o0. To reserve at place at the monthly luncheon, sign the reservation roster in the parish hall or call Sally. Pennies are collected at the luncheon for the Church Periodical Society.
The monthly luncheons of the Women of Trinity are well attended and provide a time of fellowship and information for those who attend.

The Church Mouse serves as Trinity’s in-house thrift shop. It is a form of stewardship for members of the parish. Volunteers prepare all the donations to be sold and man the monthly and seasonal sales. Both men and women are valued as volunteers in this rewarding ministry. The bulk of the income is given to ministries in our community, nation, and world.
Sales are held on the first Thursday of each month at 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Two large sales are held on Saturday twice a year (the monthly sales are closed.) The next large sale will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The line for admittance to the sale grows long so come early to get a good spot!
