Daughters of the King
On Sunday morning we will recognize the members of the Daughters of the King chapter at church. We invite you to meet some of our members in the Family Room following the 9:00 a.m. services and welcome you to the coffee hour hosted by the DOK. The Order of the DOK is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of Prayer, Service, and Evangelism. We have made a commitment to Jesus as our Savior, and we follow Him as Lord of our lives.

At Trinity-by-the-Cove the daughters offer service by sponsoring the Advent and Lenten Quiet Days, as well as sending birthday cards to the children and of the parish and those who are over ninety years old.
Annual Meeting
Monday, January 30th
7:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited to our 58th Annual Parish Meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, January 30th. Reservations are required for the meeting, however, preceding the meeting, there will be a parish dinner at 6 p.m. which, because of space constraints, is limited to 200 people. For the dinner, you must make a reservation and pre-pay the cost of $15 per person. You may contact the parish office or sign up in the parish hall to reserve your spot for dinner. (Nursery care is available upon request.)

The Parisian Dinner menu prepared by Lisa McDonnell will include assorted appetizers of tapenade and chèvre; boeuf bourguignon with buttered noodles, and a delicious surprise for dessert.

Wednesday Night Out
Wednesday, February 1st
6:00 p.m.
The Undiscovered Country - Our Life to Come

It is an honor to have Professor Peter Hawkins with us on February 1st for our Winter Wednesday Night Out. He asks the questions, "Why do most contemporary Christians pull a blank when it comes to imagining a life with God after death?" Although the Bible is largely silent on the issue, our world is completely riveted by the up-to-date visions of heaven and hell that stock bookstore shelves and are found everywhere on the Internet. But what are believers to think and to say about the "undiscovered country" that is the life to come - from the pulpit, at the hospital, or in our daily lives?

If you would like more information please go to our "Wednesday Night Out" Section.
