Music at Trinity
Sunday, April 19th
4:00 p.m.
Bach and Brahms: Cellist, Anne Richardson
Anne Richardson was ten when she made her debut with the Louisville Orchestra; at eleven, she was made principal cello of the Louisville Youth Symphany. She made her first appearance in Naples, at Trinity-by-the-Cove, at age thirteen. Now eighteen, she is enrolled at the Juilliard School of Music in New York. For this recital, she will play two great works by two great composers: the Fifth Suite for unaccompanied cello, by Johann Sebastian Bach, and the Sonata in F major for cello and piano, by Johannes Brahms.
A sumptuous wine reception follows the recital. No tickets or reservations are required to attend.
Relay for Life 2015
Friday, April 17th
Saturday, April 18th
The American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life” is its signature fundraising activity.  This year the Naples event will be on Friday, April 17th at the Gulfview Middle School. The program begins at 6:00 P.M. with an Opening Ceremony and Survivors Lap & Celebration. The Caregivers Lap at 7:00 and the Luminaria Ceremony at 9:00 P.m. are the other highlights of the day. For those who spend the night, the Relay will conclude with a closing ceremony at 9:45 A.M. on Saturday.
Once again, Team Trinity will be raising money and supporting Relay attendees by providing its famous cookout and pot-luck dinner beginning at 5:30 P.M. on Friday night, and by a full breakfast starting at 7:00 A.M. Saturday morning.
The focus of Trinity’s participation in Relay is to raise money for the American Cancer Society and to provide a location at the event for Trinity’s parishioners to gather for fellowship in support of the church’s many cancer survivors and also numerous caregivers.  We will be honoring those who have died as a result of cancer. Your generous contributions of time talent and money will help us reach our goals.
