Women of Trinity Luncheon
Tuesday, January 20th
12:00 p.m.
You are invited to join the Women of Trinity for their January luncheon in the parish hall. Following a delicious catered lunch, featured speaker Ed Carlson, Director Emeritus of the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary will share his insights and knowledge of the Sanctuary and the vital role it plays in our ecosystem today. Mr. Carlson has the credentials to back up this knowledge: he served as the Director of the Sanctuary for twenty-eight years and still sits on the Board of the Directors, as well as with other organizations such as the Everglades Wetland Restoration Center and the Naples Botanical Gardens.
Please sign the roster in the parish hall, or call the parish office if you would like to attend. Consider asking a friend to join you for this very interesting and enjoyable luncheon!
Jambalaya Extravaganza
Friday, January 23rd
6:00 p.m.
Supporting Youth Pilgrimage
This is more than a Jambalaya dinner, this is an occasion! It's an occasion to support the youth pilgrimage in the spring of 2015. The evening will begin with Evensong featuring the antique organ played by Dr. John Fenstermaker. The youth will officiate our worship as they give thanks for their community of faith and as we give thanks for them. While our youth help to serve dinner, you will have an opportunity to see and hear about their upcoming pilgrimage and get to know some of our younger parishioners at Trinity-by-the-Cove.
The youth pilgrims will be helping Fr. Edward cook up a New Orleans dinner of Jambalaya, green salad, rolls and bread pudding with bourbon sauce! The cost of the dinner is $15.00 per person, children eat for free. Please sign the roster in the parish hall or call the parish office if you would like to attend.
