Piano prodigy Nicholas Waddell, a seventeen-year-old rising star in the Naples music scene, will play a free recital of his favorite works. Nicholas made his
concert début at the age of 12 with the Tampa Bay Symphony; he is a senior in high school and enjoys fishing and pickleball.
He has chosen to play Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in C minor, BWV 847; Beethoven’s “Appassionata” sonata; two works by Chopin, Ballade no. 1 in G minor, and the
popular Sonata II in B flat minor – with its famous funeral march. For a finale, he'll play Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2. This promises to be an unforgettable musical experience.
No tickets or reservations are required; there is a free-will offering received, midpoint in the recital, and a reception following the recital.
