Each Sunday after we “confess our sins against God and our neighbor;” the priest says: “Almighty God have mercy on you, forgive you all your sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen you in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep you in eternal life.” (BCP Rite II pg. 360). And we respond “Amen” which means so be it.
What does it mean to be forgiven of our sins?
What does it mean to truly forgive others?
The day begins at 8:30 am with a light breakfast and the program begins at 9:00 am. A number of talks will be given along with time to reflect on them. It is a wonderful way to be in touch with a Holy Lent. The morning concludes with Holy Eucharist at noon followed by lunch.
All are welcome, including your friends, and there is no charge for this morning. Please sign up in the parish hall to let us know that you will be attending.
