Celtic Evening Prayer on the labyrinth, 6:00 p.m.
The Celts began as a pagan society that converted to Christian beliefs while contributing their culture and traditions to Christian practices. Celtic Spirituality sees the world as a place where the divisions of sacred and secular are irrelevant - a place where we find God lovingly concerned with all aspects of life.
Celtic spirituality holds a desire for wholeness and connectedness in life. Contemporary Celtic spirituality is reflected in the worship of the Iona Community situated on a small island in the Inner Hebrides on the western coast of Scotland. Borrowing from their worship book, Trinity will celebrate a candlelight service.
