Father Daniel leads this group of Trinitarians who love to read books and would enjoy the chance to talk about them. The group meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:00 pm. Our gatherings include light refreshments and wine.
This month the Bookworms will be discussing The Supper of the Lamb: A Culinary Reflection by the Rev. Robert Farrar Capon, an Episcopal priest - and chef. The Supper of the Lamb is not a work of fiction; it presents itself as a kind of cookbook, but it isn't really that either. You might say it's an exploration of the spirituality that underlies all ordinary human activity - even cooking - through which we can discover truth about ourselves and about God, if we take the time to see it.
