Music for Clarinet, Violin and Piano
Featuring Clarinet, Violin, and Piano. Franklin Cohen, clarinet, (Principal Clarinet Emeritus, Cleveland Orchestra) Milana Strezeva, piano, (founding member of the Manhattan piano trio); Emerson Millar, violin, (co-concertmaster of the Naples Philharmonic). The featured work is an amazing piece for clarinet, violin and piano entitled Contrasts, composed by Bela Bartok. It is based on Hungarian and Romanian folk dance melodies. It was commissioned in 1938 by Benny Goodman.
