CHRISTMAS
CAROL CONCERTS: THE CHOIR OF TRINITY-BY-THE-COVE.
The true spirit of Christmas
shines forth in this luminous concert of traditional and new
Christmas carols. Harp, flute and organ accompany the acclaimed
choir of Trinity-by-the-Cove,
as they sing Go Tell it on the Mountain, Carol of the Bamboo
Flute, Ave Maria, The Twelve Days of Christmas, and many others.
Visiting musicians: Richard Fleisher, harp; Wendy Willis, flute;
and Peter Lewis, organ. John Fenstermaker conducts. An audience
sing-along concludes the concert. |

STRINGS: QUINTETS BY BEETHOVEN AND SCHUBERT.
The finest professional orchestral sting
players of Naples come together to bring you world-class chamber
music, performing string quintets from the great Viennese
classical tradition. You'll hear Beethoven's Voila Quintet ,
op. 29, in C major, with voilinists Patric Neal and
Sania Whitaker, voilists Monica Biacchi and James Griffith, and
cellist Adam Satinsky. Schubert's Cello Quintet in C, op.
163, features voilinists Glenn Basham and Anne Marie
Terranova, violist Jessie Goebel, and cellists Tom May and John
Marcy. Don't miss this world-class live performance of two

 CLASSICAL
GUITAR: CUBAN VIRTUOSO ERNESTO TAMAYO.
Tamayo's vast repertoire includes music from 18th-centtury Europe,
modern dance music from fold sources of Spain and Argentina, and
modern classical works for the guitar. Hear this marvelous music in
the intimate acoustics of Trinity-by-the-Cove. Born in Havana, Mr.
Tamayo began studying the guitar at the age of five with his father,
and made his first television appearance at the age of eleven. He
received a scholarship to the Peabody Conservatory; he now teaches
at the Pennsylvania Academy of Music in Lancaster.

MUSIC
FOR CELLO AND PIANO: PHILIT BORTER AND ARUNESH NADGIR.
Brilliant young cellist
Philip Borter from the Eastman School of Music interprets three
great pieces of chamber music. Prize-winning pianist Arunesh
Nadgir joins him in the recital of music from Austria, France
and America: Beethoven's Sonata in C major No, 4 for Piano
and Cello; Debussy's Sonata for Cello and Piano; and
Samuel Barber's Sonata for cello and Piano. Borter
studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music, receiving his
Bachelor of Music degree with honors. Pianist Nadgir was
the winner of the 2005 Steinway Society of Massachusetts piano
competition; he graduated from the New England Conservatory. |

THE
VIRTUOSO PIANIST: FREDERICK MOYER
During his twenty-five
years as a full-time concert pianist, Frederick Moyer has carved
out a vital and unusual career that has taken him to a forty-one
countries and to such far-flung venues as Suntory Hall in Tokyo,
the Sydney Opera House, England's Windsor Castle, and the
Kennedy Center in New York. Moyer's enthusiasm, exacting
artistry, and adventurous programming have made him a favorite
among audiences of all ages. In recital, his delightful
commentary from the stage brings the audience into the heart of
the musical series, inaugurating the Kawai piano given by Mrs,
Joan Mac Millin. Mr. Moyer is an acclaimed master in the
interpretation of the great piano composers: Mozart, Chopin,
Debussy and Liszt.. |

From U.S.41 in downtown Naples, take Central Avenue west (towards
the gulf). Turn left on Second Street South(which later becomes Gordon Drive).
Continue for 1.9 miles. Turn left on Galleon Drive. The church is on
the right.
