Twelve-year-old Anne began playing the cello at the age of five. She is presently principal cellist of the Louisville Youth Orchestra, and has received numerous prizes in student competitions. A student at Louisville Collegiate School, Anne also studies the piano, and is passionate about ballet, especially loving her role as Clara in the Louisville Ballet's 2007 production of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker. THE HOLLY AND THE IVY:  Christmas At trinity-by-the-Cove
The acclaimed Choir of Trinity-by-the-Cove will lead you to the true spirit of Christmas in this beautiful concert of timeless music. Old and new carols include I wonder as I wander, O Little Town of Bethlehem, The Angel Gabriel, Silent Night, Calypso Carol, others. The momentum of the English carol tradition finds expression at Trinity-by-the-Cove. The choir will be accompanied by Richard Fleisher, harp; Wendy Willis, flute; and Peter Lewis at the mighty Casavant organ. John Fenstermaker conducts.

ChAmber musiC from PAris And viennA:
the Amernet string QuArtet with PiAnist JAmes toCCo

The quartet is the ensemble-in-residence at Florida International University, and has garnered worldwide praise as one of today’s exceptional string quartets. All of the players are graduates of the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. They will perform Franz Josef Haydn's "Sunrise" Quartet in B flat major. Italian-American piano virtuoso James Tocco, of the Manhattan School of Music, enjoys international renown as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher. He joins the quartet to perform César Franck's haunting Piano Quintet in F Minor.

February 7th, Sunday, at 4 pm
musiC of silver Pipes: the moChi-mAgni flute And orgAn duo
These Italian virtuosi are on tour in the U. S. and make their Naples début in this recital. Flutist Luca Magni graduated in flute from the Mascagni Institute in Livorno. He specializes in the music of Tuscany and its culture, having recorded CDs of ancient and modern Tuscan composers. Organist Mariella Mochi earned degrees in piano, organ and composition from the Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, and has played recitals all over the world. Their program will include works of Johann Christian Bach, G. F. Handel, Astor Piazzolla, others.

February 21st, Sunday, at 4 pm
the King of instruments: organ recital by John fenstermAKer.
Trinity-by-the-Cove’s own director of music plays the celebrated Casavant organ as no one else can: music by Wolfgang Mozart, Louis Vierne, Richard Purvis, and the rarely-heard Persian Suite (1915) by Massachusetts composer Roy Spaulding Stoughton. The organ has recently been increased in size, adding new voices: flute celeste, principal, vox humana, chimes. The thirty-two foot Basse Acoustique will shake the church.

March 14th, Sunday, at 4 pm
the virtuoso Piano: recital by victor rosenbAum
A renowned performer and teacher, Rosenbaum has taught at Juilliard, Eastman and the New England Conservatory of Music, and was director of the Longy School of Music from 1985 to 2001. His highly-praised recording of Schubert was described as “a powerful and poignant record of human experience.” The program will include works by Brahms, Chopin and Haydn.
April 25th, Sunday, at 4 pm
A Cathedral evensong:
the Choir of trinity-by-the-Cove

Thomas Tallis, William Byrd and T. Tertius Noble are some of the English composers whose music you will hear at this lovely service of psalms and anthems. Evensong has been sung in cathedrals, parishes and chapels for more than 500 years. This is a rare opportunity to experience sublime choral music, sung in the ancient style.

Directions:
From U.S.41 in downtown Naples, take Central Avenue west (towards the gulf). Turn left on Second Street South(which later becomes Gordon Drive). Continue for 1.9 miles. Turn left on Galleon Drive. The church is on the right.
